My recorded heart rate usually tops out at a rate higher than my theoretical maximum if I run hard. eg 178 during today's parkrun. Resting HR is normaal to low.

I drank after the run otherwise I'd have been the same as you, quimby, and today's route wouldn't have been good for me to find anywhere for wee stops! I managed a recovery run so an extra 5 miles, taking me to 91/100. Target getting closer
