Well done Sushi, glad you could make it round and enjoy it 😀
And thanks all. Very much looking forward to a few easy weeks now. Need to work on my wine drinking ability after several weeks on the marathon wagon 😀

Boston UK is very flat, very much in the countryside and I'm sure V'rap would confirm when the wind blows, it blows. When I ran it the sun shone and there is no shade. It's nicely supported in the villages and lots of water stations. I hope to be about somewhere if I'm not running.

Boston UK is a splendid race. Flat as can be. Prevailing wind unhelpful for all but one mile. Fabulous support and marshalling.

Good morning. Hope all those who raced a marathon yesterday are able to walk down the stairs without too much difficulty today.
Sushi I have only ever heard good things about Chester and depending how Boston fares may end up doing that aswell 🙂
Interesting to hear your reviews of Boston and sounds like another lovely flat race I know, the Great Bentley HM, the wind can make it so difficult. Everything else sounds perfect though and who knows maybe see you there FF 😊

Enjoyed London on telly and watching the race at the front. A magnificent event and so good to see so many enjoying (?!) themselves. Not for me though! I last did it in 1986 when there were about 10,000 runners and that was enough to be bobbing along with!
Well done everyone who ran it yesterday. Stalled on my early morning run thanks to the cat bringing a mouse into the house which escaped. Trying to catch it but wow, a mouse is a real fast runner and still on the loose!

I have obviously been out of running far too long as I forgot about the London ballot until I now saw it on the VLM site whilst looking at some results 🙄 I have now applied.
steve45 didn't the cat want to help? 😉 We have mice in the garden demolishing the bird food and any fallen fruit but they do look very sweet.

5 more this morning puts me on 10/100. Not quite on the target line yet!
Also just entering the TCS-LM ballot for next year -that doesn't roll off the tongue easily. (And thanks for the reminder, forever!) I'm hoping that having a business relationship with the new sponsors might help me get a place - although I suspect that's perilously close to the things I have to report under our workplace code of ethical practice!!
But the website is s-l-o-w at the moment.
