3 days off for various reasons, so just had a big catch up. Seems we are mostly finding a way to clock some miles up, hopefully we (UK at least) will be moaning about the wind & rain on Sunday 74/100 - Club speed session unsurprisingly cancelled last night so a bunch of us did a trail run, very enjoyable to be out for a nice easy chatty run. Got a bramble in the face and a cut right next to my eye for my efforts. Then 7 done this morning, went round part of the parkrun course and I can already see that will be cancelled so likely Crosby again will be the safest bet. Mostly fine out, it's the black ice on the rocky parts of trail that are the lethal bits. |

4 snowyish icy miles over the fells & woods. 1/2hr after a McD’s breakfast (aka Xmas party lining food) wasn’t the best prep and my feet were frozen (shoes still wet) but bring me to 37/75

4 miles for me - 48/100 - past half way point so touch and go to get to the century mark this month

Great mileage, Vrap and Gobi. It'll still be good mileage, dobbers Sometimes we have to prioritise other things. That's certainly happening for me this month! |

Thanks Ness - I knew this month was going to be hard to fit it all in and the weather has played its part - current mileage is the most I have ever done in a year so grateful for that.

52.2/100 after some easy miles this morning - parkrun cancelled due to some properly icy corners in the park still. I didn't do any pride letters from yesterday's challenge, but did want to say a massive thank you to everyone on this thread for support, encouragement and motivation. Those last two posts from Ness and dobbers are why it's so great - we have the 100 miles a month target, but when life gets in the way and there's a bit less running, there's still masses of support for whatever miles we can notch up. Wishing you all a lovely festive season and lots of great running in 2023! |

79/100 Crosby parkrun with a warm up this morning. Headwind for the last mile was unwelcome 😂 Have a borders league race tomorrow around a race track in Anglesey, should be fun…forecast is wet n windy. 4 hour round trip for a 5 mile race is a bit of a pain though. |
