My 'mill hasn't had much use and zero maintenance apart from some oil being put under the belt last year when in lockdown

I’m hoping that if I go to the expense of disrupting my house and buying one we’ll have a mild winter and I won’t need to use it. That’s how these things usually work. 😉

Might gym membership for the winter months be easier, Tikka?

I did consider that, V’Rap, but my logic for dismissing it (rightly or wrongly) is that if it’s too icy to run outside I’m unlikely to want to drive either. Also, past experience tells me that unless a gym is in close proximity to home, I find excuses not to go, and the nearest gyms to me are David Lloyd and Bannatyne Health, both of which are lovely but very expensive if I’m only going to be using it occasionally. But yes, gym membership is and could be an alternative if I decide against a purchase.

Whoop whoop I’m off the starting block! 3.5/100.

Feel tonnes better today.

That’s a lot of money for occasional use Tikka? Could you research what you’d need & look for 2nd hand? Or as Vrap suggests a gym membership? I got a cross trainer many years ago then I was injured & thought it would be an option for rainy / icy days it never got used.

Could you hire one? Just to see how much you’d use it?

I sold my treadmill before move it was 18+ years old and sturdy as an ox I was sorry to see it go but no room in bungalow and I only ever used it when we had ice....maybe why it lasted so long.
I know this week because I could not run thought I wish I had one as no wet leaves to fall over I could at a stretch get one in my bedroom but I wont as I dont really like them.

Another walk today but going to try a run tomorrow...I am so excited by this.

Well done GG!

Never been able to do treadmills for more than about 20mins before I get bored. Tried when I was on holiday in September but got to 24mins and that felt like an ordeal.

The instructions that came with mine actually said don't do more than 1 hr
I have done 1 hr a few times at home and the gym but hate it
normally involve ipad and film!
