Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

After much prevarication I forced myself out of the door to do my last 20 miler before Chester, which I had signally failed to do yesterday. Legs felt a bit sore from 12 miles and got more so as miles went by but weirdly I still felt I had energy in the tank and the last mile was the quickest by almost a minute. Felt like I had some sort of split physicality but choosing to take it as a good sign 36/100

Well done, CD. 👍 I did 15 at the weekend. Felt OK but knew my legs hadn't got another 20 miler in them.

Timed my run to perfection. It started to rain just as I was doing my stretches. 24/100

I misread that and thought you'd fallen with your mam, gg! Glad you hadn't.

5 more done. Lovely autumn weather, except it's still muggy! I hope that changed before the weekend.

25/100.

Would you need another 20 Ness or only 11? (Saying only 11 after 15 makes me chuckle!) you have trained so hard you will be amazing the rest will have done you the world of good.

Well done CD.

I do like autumn just not keen on the humidity and still hate rain.

Mr Ness has advised not to do another 20, GG. I'll see how I feel next weekend. Thanks. Hopefully start to feel the effects of more rest soon. 🤞

I'll only get 2 or 3 easy runs in this week before the 10K, so mileage down a bit, but that will be OK! Well done everyone, good miles already. :-) G
