A fairly quick by recent standards 5.7 with my club last night takes me to 69/100.

It hailed in the last half mile.

Here’s hoping everyone’s dry and that the weather dries up and we can get some decent runs in.

pity about the cancelled races jenny but even more of a pity that work etc has given you head frazzle!
I've somehow plugged away during the recent nasty weather and complained most of the time much to the annoyance of my wife! It is what it is she says and of course that's right.
63/100 after this morning's run with NO WIND and no rain either!

You're all making me jealous, some good mileages here.

I'm well and truly 'out' for the month what with cancelled races, disrupted training due to the weather, having to waste time at the weekend sorting out a new car and now a shoulder issue that is preventing me from doing absolutely anything let alone running (excruciating pain and my first days off work in 15 years 😢)

I'm hoping to get out for a parkrun at the weekend but further than that I'll be declaring with not much more than a total in the 30's.

Keep running all!

I feel sorry for the people who have booked flights and accommodation for the Tokyo Marathon. I wonder how many will just go for a holiday anyway, now? Given the flights are still running so their travel insurance probably won't pay out for a cancelled trip if they don't.

Weath, I hope your shoulder is sorted quickly. Is it an ongoing thing or a one off (injury)?

85/100 now. With a planned 10 mile race on Sunday. I need to go for a wee run or two tomorrow to make sure 100 happens as I cross the finishing line!

Cheers Mark, one-off hopefully. Bursitis, for which I can tell you the pain isn't pleasant! It came on through Sunday evening and the last 2 days have been constant agony, unable to move my right arm even the smallest amount (thankfully I am left-handed). Anti-inflammatory and paracetamol finally seems to be making a difference so I had a better night sleep last night and gained some restricted movement today. Sat at home bored and missing my running.

Good luck for Sunday. You're comfortably placed to cruise through the 100 this month,

Healing vibes to Weath.
Pleasant gentle 5k with 24h ECG attached this morning. Wet windy and cold track session this evening.
