17 / 100 - a 4 mile progressive run this morning.

Things have gone a bit crazy the last couple of days and Bournemouth Marathon is back on!
But it does mean that I will be running two more times this week before Sunday as I have had no real preparation for the marathon. But it does mean I will run it with no pre-conceived time goals.

I will do another 4 mile on Thursday and then a gentle parkrun on Saturday and then it will be a countdown of how many miles I can get through before I blow up on Sunday!

Autumnleaves
My October will be a strange one - I have a race angel stint on Sunday at Chester Marathon - which could result in 10-12 miles, then Manchester Half - but after that I intend to do a bit of wind-down for some rest and recovery before starting marathon training in December. Feeling the need frankly - a few niggles are making themselves felt!

I don't think I would ever have considered doing a marathon with no preparation! That doesn't seem to be a good way of keeping the body ok or doing oneself justice in terms of true ability. I wouldn't bother RedA but enjoy it if nothing else.
15/100 after today's run on a fantastic autumnal morning.

Think twice before believing any runner who says they have done "no" preparation, Steve 😉
Few "gentle" walks around Fort William and Glencoe past 2 days.
