Worked on Chrome last night, failed today. Worked once on Firefox today, then stopped working. Interestingly the ads are not showing in the top bar of the site any more.

Mine's just uploaded from my 405 via Firefox after a hiccup - I used the old system earlier on today when I first had the problem and the old version worked ok, but joined the new version for this afternoon's hiccup.

Working on 2008 Macbook using Safari and Chrome. Have a Forerunner 310XT, with the latest Communicator PlugIn (4.0.4.0). Getting the same "HtmlTagNotFoundException: Plug-In HTML tag not found" message with all browsers. Obviously can't use IE, so I'm at a bit of a loss on what to do next.

FYI I cleared my cache and reset the browser.

It may have said it uploaded my session this afternoon, but it didn't appear in my training log and now none of the browsers picks it up.

Nope, still no joy here.

Still getting: HtmlTagNotFoundException: Plug-In HTML tag not found.

Have tried reinstalling the GC plugin. Next step install another browser and try.

I'm not trying anything else. It worked here during the week. It still works for strava and TP. I have changed nothing. Ergo the problem is not local to me.

Downloaded my file from Garmin connect and then re-uploaded as a .TCX file and this worked. I'm a new Mac user and Finder is still a mystery to me. I saw the directions GregP, thanks for those but I couldn't find the "go" in the first step. *blush*

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Just a little note to say thanks for all the comments here and via feedback. The test phase was useful for knocking off a lot of bugs, but there's nothing like the thrill of putting something live to really get that usability feedback flowing :-)

Here's the TO DO list following feedback from users:

1) Solution for only showing runs since last update - DONE
2) Links on successful import to allow direct route to edit/view - DONE
3) Avoid reloading data on choosing different time view.
4) Stop people pressing the button more than once - DONE
5) Auto detect sport where available.
6) Fix rogue pace zones (reported by Duchess, MacApple et al)
7) Max speed (for Mick173)
8) Smoother import of elevation data.
