Tried several times with Chrome, same message a out HTML. I've updated the plugin, but no joy. So I've imported from thenTCX file, and it was a cinch - so cheers, guys, I didn't know about that. Good one to remember, though obviously the direct import is easier as you don't have to navigate to the files.

I think there's a possibility that this is being caused by the ad code interacting badly with the page. In a nutshell, I provide a little pigeon hole for the people who sell the ads to post code that displays whichever ads they'd like. Unfortunately, sometimes there's a bit of fallout from that approach. I've noticed that the ad banners on the home page have been jumping around a bit, so I'm wondering if it's being adjusted at the moment.

Certainly odd that TP and strava work and we don't.

Problem solved for today by exporting TCX files from GarminConnect and importing them. Finding the 'real' TCX files on a Mac is hard work as they are stored as hidden files.

For the benefit of other Mac users:
In the Finder, press 'Go' while holding down the option key and select 'Library'. The files are stored in /Library/Application Support/Garmin/Devices/several digits/Activities

I've made an alias to this folder and put it on my Desktop for now.

Had a problem uploading my run from my Garmin 305 on Chrome but switched to IE and it uploaded straight away via the communicator.

About This Thread

Just a little note to say thanks for all the comments here and via feedback. The test phase was useful for knocking off a lot of bugs, but there's nothing like the thrill of putting something live to really get that usability feedback flowing :-)

Here's the TO DO list following feedback from users:

1) Solution for only showing runs since last update - DONE
2) Links on successful import to allow direct route to edit/view - DONE
3) Avoid reloading data on choosing different time view.
4) Stop people pressing the button more than once - DONE
5) Auto detect sport where available.
6) Fix rogue pace zones (reported by Duchess, MacApple et al)
7) Max speed (for Mick173)
8) Smoother import of elevation data.
