Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Programmers subliminally know when their code isn't working as it should, with me my left foot starts to twitch - snag is that as this appears to be V1 code it doesn't tell me which program.

At the risk of upsetting everyone...

Tried using Chrome this morning - got the HtmlTagNotFoundException: Plug-In HTML tag not found.

Tried using Chrome and the old plug-in : same
Tried using IE - no error message, found my Garmin, got to 10% and stalled (as usual)
Closed IE and reopened IE - training imported fine...

yeah, Chrome worked fine for me last night when other people were posting about problems.
I don't think you're going to upset *everyone*, but poor old Fetch is going to get stressed when he finds out how intermittent this problem is.

It might help him if folks could send him feedback saying which operating system and browser are giving the problem.

Will try uploading Katie's run shortly - but I've not even been remotely near that bit of code for several weeks.

It wasn't working for me so I just did it manually. Assumed it was just my old garmin.

If it happens again tomorrow I'll send feedback. :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Just a little note to say thanks for all the comments here and via feedback. The test phase was useful for knocking off a lot of bugs, but there's nothing like the thrill of putting something live to really get that usability feedback flowing :-)

Here's the TO DO list following feedback from users:

1) Solution for only showing runs since last update - DONE
2) Links on successful import to allow direct route to edit/view - DONE
3) Avoid reloading data on choosing different time view.
4) Stop people pressing the button more than once - DONE
5) Auto detect sport where available.
6) Fix rogue pace zones (reported by Duchess, MacApple et al)
7) Max speed (for Mick173)
8) Smoother import of elevation data.
