brotherjohn Nice, well organized event. Had a good run, though don't think I would agree that it is a fast course. Managed a reasonable 30:25 (30:09 by the Garmin for 5 miles, which was spot on at the mile makers), very strong headwind for the last couple of miles, but downhill. Under 30 certainly possible. 5:51 6:01 6:11 5:59 6:06 0:16, anyone else find it slightly long?

Drell Basic aim is to get round in my first public race. Wow! did so much better than I expected, and better even than I had hoped :) -- And yes, my Garmin said it was 5.04 miles :-)

Dull Napoleon™ Was going well up to half way but slowed into the breeze, as we turned for home. 4th mile was particularly slow. A satifactory run considering the course conditions and the time of year.

KoughKandi Would like to end this year on a 66% wava, the predition is excactly that.*Post race, really should not have ran this one today as I am day 3 into a chest infection and it had a big affect on the outcome but still pleased with time!*

Sting Ray Cold day! think i started my watch before the start line. Garmin watch said i did the 5miles in 39.56, never mind. The hills are not really hills, they rise slowly. Good course!

Tom Tom God knows how this one is going to go...will be running the day after mum's xmas blowout!! Will be hoping for the shorter end of 33 mins, though... *BOING* New PB, and might have gone sub 33 if I'd got a clearer start!! Fantastic race though, friendly marshalls, fast results service and loved the technical tees at the finish :)
