Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Bettsy Not my favourite course and it's usually too hot. Will be pleased with anything close to 1.28 as will be on schedule for Stage 1 RNR.

Greenman Probably the best running conditions so far and this was reflected in the time, a course best and 15th overall.

Longy What a fab race, I did it, I got a PB but it did make me heave. Managed to knock 6mins of my PB. Fabish course, too windy for me, but the hills were not that bad. Glad to have that one out of the way.

Jigs Do not bet!! Running at mara pace. *Update* Warm and breezy run along rural Norfolk roads, complete with their rural smells, or was that Biddy? ;) Ran a little faster than mara pace but nowhere near PB time, so a safe training run. Great to meet some new Fetchies as well as the reg'lers. Friendly marshalls and plenty of water/sponge stations, although I didn't partake as I carried my own (water that is) What is it with some runners running on the wrong side of the road? Makes it very difficult for traffic to negotiate us, 'specially hoooge tractors!

Pericles A chance to gauge fitness after a very poor summer for training and ahead of the autumn marathons. If it is cool and still then I'll have a shot at beating my fairly weak half marathon pb, otherwise I'll just try to be under last year's time for the event. UPDATE ... Today felt really tough, conditions were hard (very warm, with a stiff breeze in the face for the long straight middle sections - similar to last year, though not as bad as then) and my splits were all over the place. I'm disappointed with the time: all through the race I thought I was hanging in for a PB, but it just didn't happen.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) Good training run!!! :o) good to catch up with lovely Fetchies and to run 8 miles with old biddy :o) Well done Tec Turner, good time for a first half!

Not aiming for a PB, running at marathon pace so NO BETS unless you want to lose credits! :o)

Gandhi Haven't really got a clue what time I'll do here so I've just made a guess.
UPDATE:- Did better than expected . This seems to be roughly the time I do for halfs' now.
It's now a year since I've been able to get below 1hr 50m. Must be my age. Knackered by 10 miles.

TecT First crack at a HM. Looking forward to it, but don't expect to break 2hours... UPDATE. Fantastic! Had the very great pleasure of running the whole race with Forest Faerie and could not have done it without her. Legs were tired for the last couple of miles but I expected that as the distance was new territory for me. Really good to meet the Fetchies again too.
