MAD Superman Finished 2nd overall. Very pleased. 1st 12m run probably too fast (sub 7s) with Walshy, and all on hardcore canal paths. 2nd half mainly grass and mud. Started to pull away from Walshy at 22m and as soon as I say someone catching him to take 3rd I put the put down over the last 5m to make sure I secured 2nd. Felt stroing at the end and finished with 4 sub 7 miles (all uphill through the locks going into Grantham). the winner was an Ireland internationally runner aiming for sub 3 which he would have got if he hadn't got lost and run 2m more.
