Hollywoof! Poor showing - legs weren't there - which I guess was due to the previous day's 10 mile run and 80 mile cycle.... oops!

surreystriderâ„¢ Really pleased with my time as squeezing under 1:30 was my aim and it was a fairly hot morning. Considering my PB at this distance was 18 months ago when I was a lot fitter and was only 5 mins quicker I am hoping this could lead to some PB busting in the autumn.

johntz First 10 miler ever, and I couldn't have picked a nicer one...Lovely sunny day, great setting although the path was dusty in places. Ran at a steady pace, which left me with some energy at the end so stormed to the finish. Well inside my planned time of 1h23'...

The Outlaw 1.5. mile warm up. Averaged 6:19/mile, fairly consistently throughout. Unable to increase pace early on, worried I wouldn't be able to sustain, but fairly comfortable. Not overtaken after first half mile. Finished well, catching runners. Overall, disappointed with my time. Finished 13th overall, 3rd VM50, age graded performance 78.82%.

funkin Anything about 70 minutes I'll be happy with. * UPDATE: due to peer pressure (and some good running recently), I've reduced this prediction to 67 minutes. * UPDATE: thanks to everyone betting on me. I'll do my best to earn you some credits :) * POST RACE UPDATE: Very very happy with my time, especially with the hot weather today. Glad to have given some of you some nice credits in the fetch betting!

John66 I'd like to beat Bramley 1:44 but we'll see. Betting on me would be a small risk but what's life without a risk or two? Change of attitde - I WILL PB !! Bet on me NOW!

** 1:51:12 Aaarrrrggghhhh **

In retrospect I can only partially blame the VERY VERY hot weather. I was unprepared and hadn't done much since Reading. I think this will be a turning point in my fledgling running 'career'

wendyjames Display time (no chip), which I'm happy enough with.

My legs were tired from cycling this week, it was my first sunny run of the year, and also my first long run in a while. At least I did it in my predicted time!
