About this parkrun

Flat and fast, out and back with a loop at the far end. Tarmac all the way, along the shore of a big pond. Plenty parking at start and a cafe.

Flat out and back course next to a Loch in Strathclyde Country Park. Close to M74 with easy parking. few potholes to look out for but good picturesque course with supportive friendly marshalls.

Flat and fast out and back course. Good for PBs - unless the wind is blowing, then it can be a bit of a struggle coming home.

Good fast out and back course can be windy as its open along the side of the loch

Fast flat lollipop shaped out and back beside a loch. Can be difficult if windy.

Fast and flat for PB. Guess I was lucky, no wind, and it's been recently resurfaced and was dry, bright and cool! Perfect. Lovely setting. I parked wrong side, nice 1.8 mile warm up n cool down! Great to watch uni rowers from boat house cafe. G

Don't be deceived by the flat nature of strathy, as it invariably has s sting in the tail in the form of a stiff headwind in the 1k home straight which has ruined many a PB. However great out and back course and a friendly bunch. My first and favourite.

All tarmac, wide paths, flat. Not too windy when I was there but it would be pretty exposed if it was
