Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Dibble Just the perfect day. My friend and I both got a great starting time of 6:30, no hold-ups at all, weather ideal and a totally non-stop race to beat our 5 hour target. (Sympathy to those who were held up - I think the number of riders is too big now).

aothen Lovely scenery, great support and a nice course. It is busy, and if there is an accident you may well be stopped for a long time.

Houblon A great event - fantastic riding through London and the Surrey Hills on closed roads that the pro riders will ride a few hours later. Aimed to get under 6 hours but got held up at about 61k for over an hour due to an accident ahead. Not doing the time did not matter though as we had a great day. Just hope the guy who crashed is OK

Lalli Late start at 8.17am, all going really well up until Pyrford 2 miles outside Ripley; caught up in a wait of over 1.5 hours as there was a double accident ahead of us. Ended up being diverted 8 miles short so didn't cycle Leith Hill. Stoppages at Dorking and Leatherhead, slow at Kingston and then traffic stop at Putney. Would have been around 6 hours without stoppages but including a 10 minute break at Hampton and 20 minute break for lunch at 1pm at Newlands Corner. Cycled straight through from Newlands to the finish, no personal stops.
