daz1927 What a tough race. Had stomach cramps from about 4 miles, and really needed the loo, ended up run/walking for ages. Nowhere to go until woods at about mile 11.5 lol, then did what the bears do. Flew in for the last 8, as I had clearly lightened my load. Was very happy with pace of last 8, and overtook many other runners who had passed when I wa walking.

Flatlander Just before the hill at mile 18, a land-rover drove straight at me and I had to leap onto the grass verge - just what you want at that stage! A struggle to the end.
