Hurry Up Harkins Confirmed time a PB just. An enjoyable run felt good on the outward leg but slowed a bit coming back, pushed myself towards the end and got there in just under 35 mins. Which I'm very happy about.

Lexo Perfect running conditions and a great start to the year.really happy with my time and the way this went although hats off to the young fella from Central AC who pummeled me in the sprint finish at the end. Actually worth going to bed early on NYE for this!. Great Fun

MartyK It was tough, tougher than it should have been anyway. It might have had something to do with the fact that I ran the 3miles from my house to the start beforehand, or maybe that I've done very little training and quite alot of eating over the past few weeks. I only ever seemed to have people overtaking me, but I set the target of 30mins and made it (just) and a good way of starting the new year. It was great to see so many fetchies there too.

toepointer Training run, was in two minds whether to run or not as it was so cold at the start and have been on a strict diet since Boxing Day. Ran well til halfway then went backwards and did'nt try too hard as I'm running at the Kelvin Hall on Saturday. IanS overtook me with a mile to go and lost a minute on him in that mile!

Triplet Dad Lovely way to start the year - great bunch of fetchies and a nice flat course in perfect conditions - the lurgy I've had forthe past 3 weeks meant I was struggling from the start and I had to stop to cough my lungs up about halfway round but still happy to get home in just over 9mm pace. oh and as I've not run this distance before it's a PB too - 2009 is good so far.
