smash So, I rocked up to this one with a plan of taking it easy and using it as another marathon training run. Which is what happened really, with a PB thrown in, but my previous PB was pretty soft. The first five miles were ok, felt good. But then my hip started to hurt, and the fatigue set in, so the rest was quite tough. Was geed on by a vet running behind me, who wouldn't let me walk! My time was about what I expected, and a 6-min PB, so why do I feel so disappointed?

Che dragon Well, I'm good at predictions anyway! The time's off the clock though Garmin was 10 secs quicker. Think I could have pushed on a bit in the middle but over mins quicker than last year.

Southwales22 Need to aim for 9mm in a hope for a sub 2 half in march Update - Last 2 miles nearly killed me, need more mental strength towards end of races. More climbs than what i was expecting in 2nd half but nothing major - very pleased with performance altho still feel i could have given more towards the end
