Lapsed Athlete very stiff legs, I think I was overambitious in going for a PB during a busy beer festival ... too much lifting and shifting and being on my feet all day rather than too much beer though lol

Grid parkrun Leeds 127. Target 27:00. Course PB 25:00. One of my best finishes at Hyde Park, but it was horrible. I didn't feel particularly well at all, and I had a really badly disturbed night's sleep. Moved my target from 26:00 as a result, with one eye on keeping out of trouble for my first half next weekend. In the end it was hard, but managed to put in a good performance. Conditions not nice: cold, heavy rain for the first half of the race which abated a little by the end.
