Supergran No pens at start this year so found ourselves having to batle our way past slower runners for 1st kilometre. The medal was disappointing this year too but apart from that, it's a good 10k with a few hills all after the 7km mark. It was very warm so extra water stations had been added and supporters were spraying runners at various points along the course with garden hoses. At 67, I was the oldest female competitor and was rewarded with a lovely bunch of tulips and an M
