Billywhizz2b Felt ill before the race - sore throat / cold - didn't appear to affect my performance!!! Big thanks to the woman over from Liverpool - never chatted to anyone so much in a race. Also well done to the Fetchie supporter in the jumper - extra motivation to run! Really well organised friendly race.

Karen Lovely morning - was really nervous at the start and decided to just take it steady - glad I did as the hills were challenging to say the least but the marshalls and organisation was fantastic... the race was fantastic... the day was fantastic... and I can't believe I finished albeit in a not very fast time! Will look to do this again nextyear though with more hill traiing under my belt first!

Lisrun Never done this one before. *Update* Beautiful day, sunny and very warm for February. Fairly hilly course, so I am very pleased to get under 1hr 50m. The route was on on a mixture of quiet and busy roads. Thanks to DeeGee for manning the Fetch cheering point at 4m and 11m, the encouragement was very welcome ! Good to meet some new Fetchies: Stoxy, Hampton, XB and DjJon

My poor knees... Tough tough race, but still enjoyed it (?)!! Time posted is from my Garmin and am well pleased with it as it is moving in the right direction at least. :-) Well marshalled event (well done to the organizers) and was a great day to run.

Skunk Due to lack of training (training has been centerd around Dewbury 10k last week) and the nature of the course i knew this would be tough and i was hoping to just get around to be honest. Quite chuffed with my time though and i will certaintly be back again. With those good views today too, i can happily say that im from yorkshire!!

XB Looking for a nice and easy run at 10 minute miling pace. UPDATE. That hurt. A lot. The first 6 miles were OK and then I turned left, over a stream and OUCHY. The road seemed to go vertical, and kept climbing until the finish. The section past the golf course was possibly the worst because you could see how long a climb it was. I stuck to my plan of run14/walk1 and it worked. Good to see Lisrun at the start and Fetch support twice on the course.
