tryfan After the heavy night rain the weather gradually got better during race. Bit wet at start - arrived late so no time for a warm up - and ended up far back at start. So reasonably pleased with result. Thanks to all the marshalls giving their time - well organised event.

LEJathon just as well this was training for a half as I screwed up my preparation and spent half the race running around backmarkers after starting late! Then settled into what Ithought was a reasonable pace, wrong! 6ps apply

rachelt note to self hiking around the lake district and trying a spot of hill training 2 days before race is probably not the best idea , legs felt like lead and time was a lot slower than it should have been!!!!

JonD On on hand I'm dissapointed not to set a PB but on the otherhand its not a bad time one week after Run Preston 10k. I even managed to squeeze a cold in between. The weather held and it turned into a nice morning. Well organise race too!

PonyGirl My first ever 10K race. Great day! Love running. Best thing I've done in years! A really nice event for a beginner. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Nice flat route. Had hoped for a time of 1 hour or slightly under. However, missed markers along course, so found it hard to judge distance and ran a bit slower.
