ChrisU A nice bright spring day. Had hoped to get under the hour, but have been struggling with a virus for 2½ weeks, so didn't feel too great. My time was 1:01:39, which is 2 seconds faster than last time I ran this race on the old course 3 years ago.

RichyC 61.40 - placed 20th of 406. Pretty pleased with my time and what is a substantial pb from my previous 64mins. Tough course but great conditions, turnout and overall just a good day. If only I could deal with the hills a bit better I'd maybe get nearer to an hour, bodes well for a flatter course though.

Lexo Bit miffed at missing the 70 Mins. Overan the first hill and paid for it in the middle of the race although had a decent finish. PB but havnt done many 10 Milers so mixed blessing. Very tough but enjoyable race. The buffet at the end helped undo all the good work though

DCB I ran this in 2007 and had a great time. Would very much like to beat the 2007 time but I'm not as fit as I once was! *****update******The first 2 miles or so was different than in 2007 - there was an extra hill. Bit disappointed to be 31 seconds slower than last time, but you can't PB in every race.

MartyK Was aiming for 8-minute mile pace but didn't really think it was possible considering the hills, and especially by the 5mile mark when I was about 90secs down. But from mile 6 it finally got abit flatter so I was able to up the pace and just crept under the 1hr 20 mark (watch time taken from my passing the start sign, so 15secs quicker than the official). Lots of good peeps around and a very well organised race!

Dvorak Big thanks to BigAlWidepants for towing me round to a substantial and surprising PB. Couldn't have done it without you. Possibly the toughest course I have run. Neg split :-), though the first half (first six even) was definitely the harder. Would have settled for 1:31 at six. Good times all round from those I saw: Magbag, Gogsy! and MartyK.

Triplet Dad Less than 5 miles from my house - have to do it this year.

Update - what a great race - lovely bright conditions in a scenic route with some killer hills thrown in - a well organised race with great local support and a nice feed afterwards - what more could you want?

I was hoping for 1:45 and went 10 mins under that (watch time) so very happy - lovely to see so many fetchies old and new.

Gogsy! (Watch time) My 1st 10 miler & what a tough one! I thought my legs were 'shot' after 3 miles - Tripletdad kept me going at that point. Good to meet up with some new fetchies (including the marshall at mile 4!). I would have been happy with 1.45 on that course, so obviously delighted with my time.
