JonnyK Terrible weather, hottest day of the year!I saw 3 people collpase in front of me on the way round, paramedics did a great job as did all the locals of barton for their hose pipes, water pistols and even water stations.

Lucky Jim My performance in this race has surely been one of the worst I've had in all the time I've been running. It was a hot day but that could only account for a part of the reason. By mile two I felt as if I'd run twenty and it steadily got worse from there. It was all I could do to put one foot in front of the other - the worrying thing is, I have no explanation for it.
