John Tovell Nice rural race, village fete atmosphere. Very impressed that the organisers managed to close the A30 to let the race through! Slightly tiresome last 1 mile when you can see the finish but have to run all the way round the village first. Nice to see Sazzahazza, James 1982a and Furry Feet.

Enaoslm 4th overall and pb. Wentt off quick and found myself in 2nd place. John Bigg soon took over then and gradually pulled away. Ran in 3rd with Matt Hallin for some time before a group caught us and 2 guys overtook us. Struggled then with stomach cramps around 5 miles and thought I'd over cooked it but got a 2nd wind around 6 miles and ran fairly comfortably to the end having overtaken one of the guys for 4th. Overall very happy!!
