Ally2 36:41 last year. Should better that. hope to get under 35. 3:20,3:23,3:37,3:32,3:32,3:19,3:30,3:38,3:13,3:33 k splits so 17:24 and 17:13 5 k splits so neg split for first time in a race. Was on my own for 7k with some owls breathing down my neck but pleased with time and came 6th.

charlie brown Aaahhh the hills!! Wasn't expecting that, which is probably just as well. Disappointed with my time as I wanted to break the 60 min barrier. Still, a well organised and marshalled race with very friendly runners too.

EvilPixie hope to sneak a PB to make myself feel better after hinckley but this is hilly and pixie's hate hills and I've fallen out of love with running just now so it will be a mental battle! I HATE hills! no idea how I got that PB but got it I did! :-)

ironman ran this with my son (gobshite). its a tough race for a 15year old. great time by him, well done. next race your on your own!

JulesO Well, hopefully it'll be cooler this year, but those hills haven't got any smaller, so yeah, this'll be an interesting test for me - Should be a reasonably safe PB (ooo hark at me, the athlete, using those technical terms!). Cooler - hmppphhh. Less sun but more heat, it only rained AFTER I had finished! Extra water stops were a good idea. Good race MOST enjoyable.

Lethargic Hilly, took as my weekly tempo run, splits of 5k -18.19 10k 17.16, k splits at km 9/10 of 3.03/3.10. A hard 10k, not for PB's but a rewarding and well run event.
