Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Felt pretty lifeless after tough race yesterday at the National Masters XC.
Very hilly with gale force winds and torrential rain.
Sorry to everyone who bet on me.
I was convinced I'd get a PB in this race, but missed it by exactly 60 seconds.

Grey Badger 3rd time of doing this race. Nice well run event with great scenery. Very wet for 2nd half of race and windy. The wind actually helped on the home half. Knocked 3m 30sec off last years time so i was really pleased as i only finished a 12hr night shift at 7 this morning then travelled over.

XB Great race. Back for my 3rd time. Not a fast race; take your time admire the scenery.
Blimey. That was tough. Wind, lashing rain and not enough breakfast. It's still a great race but I didn't hang around for the cup of tea I was shivering so much I would have sloshed it all over my dry clothes. 2005 1:57:33 2006 1:52:30. I'll be back.

kstuart A bit of a wet and windy day this one. Was a good run though and was a definte negatvie split which wasn't hard as the first half was into a head wind. My watch was suffering from the rain later on and when i went to switch to a different setting it died on me so i lost the ability to pace myself over the last 3 miles.
