Sir Noel Plum Good race - damn lucky with the weather! Have been suffering with stomach problems for the last couple of weeks and didn't feel 100% on the day. Hadn't done ANY training for a few weeks so fairly pleased with my time. Nearly went under at the ravine :-) Race number 2859. Came 99th out of 1560. Winning time was 53mins 35secs Nicola: Race number 2860. Came 904 out of 1560. Time 1:26:41 Jude Race number 199. Came 1249 out of 1560. Time 1:38:55

Last Lap Matt Well I beat my estimate but should have done better! Started training proper for a 10m in January so plenty of pace needs to be injected!

Puffing Bertie Well compared with last year that was a rubbish time, but still a good race. the course was different this year and possibly better, but that last 2 miles to the back of beyond never gets any better! Im sure i will be back next year ;-)

Nic-Nocs An excellent race, I would recommend it to everyone; it was just like being a kid again! Good weather; cold water, lots of mud! The only downside was the wait at the ravine (5 mins+ for me and 10-15 mins for my Mum).

JPK Excellent race and great fun. Will never forget the yellow mud. Ran round together with my team 'Grim and bare it all' helping, hindering and laughing at each other all the way round.

Toks am hoping to beat my time last year even if it is by a whisker, Roll on december :-) and can't wait to meet fellow fetchies :-) Update - Sorry to all who bet on me i wasn't able to have a pb due to the loss of my dad just minutes before the race but happy to complete it in his memory!! so i think i will definitely return and make daddy proud next year!
