Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Konaboy Did not enjoy this race in the slightest!! Just coming back from cold & throat infection over Christmas. Used training assistant on the Garmin to aim for predicted time. Started to stuggle just after the water station on the slight but longish climb, settled a bit until 7km (uphill turn for home) at which stage it was very difficult to keep the legs moving. I was up by 1/4 km (on Garmin against goal) at 5km & lost it all on the return. Was immensely happy to see the finish on this occasion. Pleased with time considering lack of training & illness. Good friendly atmosphere & free tea/biscuits before & after a nice touch. Will be back next year.

Kew My local 10k - did it last year in 55.52 - I'm sooo going to beat that this time! UPDATE: Beat it by 5 minutes and got a PB too. Wow quite a few of us got Pbs on that hilly course what's going on - we must have been going super fast on the down hills!!

CR1970 Wasn't going for a PB as had done an 11 mile training run yesterday. Pleased with my time, especially considering how hilly it was.
