Billy Almost impaled after 100 yards-bad, hit by a refreshing spray from a wave on the 2nd 5 mile-good, sore legs from sunday meant no increase in pace and not as good a time as expected-bad, didn't give up and the sun came out-good. Excellent marshalls and a good day out.

Martian Dashes Restrained first 5 miles though some self-doubt after seeing people pull away. The wind was very helpful giving an easy 5 mile PB. Second half back into a nice cooling breeze. Judicious draughting and an increase over the last couple of miles gave a small but painless 10 mile PB.

martyb Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. A lovely race but undoubtablythe worst performance I have put in. I certainly didnt count on the wind and just felt rough.
