Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

About this parkrun

Two differing flat laps around lakes on compacted gravel paths.
Goofee 9th Jan 2019

Two laps, but only half of each lap is repeated. All on flat gravel trails around lakes. can get puddly and muddy in winter. The start is a bit compact. Cafe is nice, especially in summer. Parking has to be paid for.

CW’s baby. Friendly, nice course - will be nice in the summer under the trees / round the lakes. Good set-up in the country park. Should be quick but there’s something about the surface at Bedfont that just slows you down a little. Nice.
Windsor Wool 19th Jan 2019

2 laps around gravel paths, 2nd lap is slightly different from the path, and was enough to make me think i was on a different path. Nice facilities, and great cafe.

Enjoyable run around the country park. Good track to run and fantastic facilities.
CloudrunnerO2 28th May 2019

Really pretty parkrun amongst the lakes. All on woodland paths and quite flat. Easy and plentiful parking (£2 I think) plenty for the kids to do in the park and a wonderful cafe.
Krispy 2nd Jul 2019

I've done this one a couple of times and really liked it. As others have said, it's on hard packed gravel. A friendly event with a good cafe.

Like running 5k in a vegetation tunnel. Nice track though with guaranteed PB potential if dry.
Shortcut Cam 20th Jul 2024

2 mainly different laps on hard-packed gravel. Pretty flat, but slower than Woodley IMO. Some mud and puddles during the winter then consider trail shoes. Sometimes flooded then run alt. 3-lap course. ED is chunkywizard, fmail if you need more info
