Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

AD Oh dear!!!!. Tore my calf and achilles somewhere between 10 and 11 miles. Limped on and finally fell on the bridge half a mile from the end. Eventually got up and staggered the last half mile. Still managed less than two hours but I didn't run for another six months.

frangale Might have been easier if I'd taken matching trainers!
Struggled through miles 9-11 but enjoyed it, disappointed with time but those little up and down hills are not for me.

Hibeedeb Great race again, but I'm sure it was hillier this year. I was running to HR, and that worked well until the last 4 miles when it went a bit crazy. Still, pleased with my time!

Laudy Well, I was in considerable pain from about three miles onwards, but managed to nurse my left calf home by running almost exclusively on one leg. Delighted with my time, and wonder what I would actually be capable of if I could ever get fit!!!
