Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

biru Quite a bit slower than expected. No prob with speed in first few kms (on target) but legs reduced to pulp somewhere around half way point (approx 17 mins)...more endurance needed (or a kick up the ass).

Update: didn't get near the pb but happy with my time. Finally got to meet lots of familiar fetch faces. Well done to everyone.

Debstir Chip time. Good results - give you 'official' time (gun to finish line) and chip time (start line to finish line). I'm going with chip time :-) Would've been happy with 52:30 - 53 mins so chuffed to bits to manage under 51 mins. Full race report will be blogged when I can be bothered!

Dvorak Adverse circs have meant this race has never had my best shot - this time, hopefully. Update - Over the moon, Brian :-). Started a bit too far forward and after 5:00 for the first K I reckoned I had overcooked it - which I continued to feel until around 8K. Then I realised I was still hanging in, and unless I totally went, the PB was still on. Last K 4:52, last 500 2:12! A good course, a little tight at times; views to the Castle and Monument; encouraging marshalls and a nice swagbag. Good runs from a lot of Fetchies I met, great PBs for Santababy and Llamadance.

Ellem Sore hip - nearly gave up but carried on and finished a slow 59:48. But on the plus side hip is no worse for running.

Jaffers Perfect conditions and pretty well organised - though nearly caught on the hop at the start! Good flat course, though there were a couple of longish pulls which helped the lactic build up. Really strong finish, which with a quick start and a solid middle meant.......PB. Hurrah. Good to catch up with Llama (well done on the pb) and Big Al and meet a few new faces.

Lexo Really Enjoyed this one. Race very well organised.Seemed to be more martials than runners!! Started quite far back in the field which seems to suite me as managed not to overrun the first few KMs. Also managed to stick to the 4 Minute KMS till about the 8 KM mark and held off to the end. Dont normaly enjoy in and outs but this was very pleasant . Had a few tough races of late and was nice to run a flat course when it was not either swelterng or chucking it down. Knocked a minute of my PB as well so well happy Ran this in my new Souconey Fastwiches which im giving some of the credit to as they are so light and comfortable!!!. Next week Linlithgow with the 40 minute watershed now to conquer!! Yikes!!

Llamadance watch time - unfortunately chip was gun to finish, so may adjust this later. Great flat race, nice to meet everyone again. Ran pretty well, quite consistently - unfortunately had 3 4:10 K's and that's taken me above 40mins. Superb PBs by Santa & Jaffers. Yay, it did have start to finish time :) Very happy.

RichyC Was hoping for a pb attempt but had crappy cold this week after GSR efforts last week so less confident now. UPDATE: Despite still having the cold I managed to pb by 45secs. Really pleased and think there's more to come.
