Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Ally2 Paid up entry on 25th June. Looks like a tough course but need hill practice for RHM. Plan for sub 70 mins in countryside that should inspire me. If training goes well before date hope to better my PB (update nearer date). With week to go I'm going for an assault on my PB. Ran a stormer; 5 mile split of 31:30 then 33:08 2nd 5 with climbs in second half. Felt strong and with plenty of water stations helped me. 1 place behind stone monkey who I met at finish. Came 12th.

daz1927 The most nervous I'd ever been before a race, due to me collapsing and being hospitalised during the same event the year before. Would have been just happy to finsih, so was quite pleased with the result. Should really be doing sub-70 for this though.

WildeRover Last run pre-holiday, so we'll see how it goes.

Didn't particularly like the course - generally downhill, then uphill - and it was suddenly very hot today, but not too bad. Training had gone a bit astray with main carbo loading being chocolate and alcohol based ahead of forthcoming holiday, so shouldn't complain really.

PQ First time racing this distance so not sure how I will fare.
Tough race, very hot and hilly. Ran really well up to mile 7 then lost it a bit but overall quite pleased with result given the conditions.
