Mr. K. 1st time at this distance. Pleased (ish) with the outcome. Laps 1 to 3 felt good, then held on during lap 4. Final time (awaiting confirmation) 6mins 30sec. Great to see so many folks there. Good spread afterwards. Lets not mention the 100 metres race. Thanks to everyone who made today possible. Wooooaaahhh - I gained / lost 2 seconds - 6.28

Rach E Sometime, somewhere, I will run a fast mile. Hopefully today is the day. ***UPDATE*** Well, I ran a faster mile, but still not fast. I am very happy though to knock a chunk off my track pb and run a whole second faster than I did in the first mile of 5k this morning :¬) I had a really good day today.

Running Fish first thing to say is a big thank you to all involved in organising this. really well done in a nice atmosphere, just a shame we werent able to stay for the post race social. bit disappointed with my run, but it was my first time on a track, and only 2nd mile run. so that's my excuse. would like to get under 5, but probably need cooler conditions and a hare to chase. hopefully we can do it again, and i'll benefit from more practise running in small circles.
