JEJ Ran as LSR but somehow finished 8th. Coped with offroad conditions ok, despite wearing road shoes - only to twist my ankle when walking back to the finish to cheer in other finishers, dropping my cake in the process :(

Stet Hard as nails race but a great event to do, my club puts this on so if I'm not marshalling I'm running it! Got terrible cramp in the last few miles but happy to get under my prediction.

Mud Rocs Always enjoy this race, tough running into the head wind back from Leigh On Sea - managed to improve by more than 7 minutes on last year which seemed an easier run - so happy. 120th.

Mad Dogs and Englishmen Great challenging course, risked going with the road shoes, paid off largely but struggled a bit on the muddy section. Mind you, that was easy compared with the Mud Flats in a strong head wind towards the end. Great course, will be back again next year, maybe I'll race it next year, this year was Seville training.

Paulie Perfectly organised race around Benfleet Creek and Hadleigh Marsh. Great fun, but very tough, particularly the section along the creek bank on the way home, which was straight into a strong headwind.
