Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Baza Could be worth a bet. 37:46 at East Neuk 2 weeks ago and this is potentially a fast course - as long as i get to the start earlier this year...lol *Update* Yes…. Not only did I get my prediction, but I PB’d into the bargain with a sub 37min race. Good conditions on the day, and me being organised for a change helped!! I was over the start line in about 2 seconds and running steady. I think I clocked 7:30 for the first 2K, 18:18 at 5K and then over the finish line in 36:54, making it an 18:36 second 5K, slightly slower but then it is downhill for the 1st 2K. I've also got loads of photos from the marathon, and a few 10K as well that I'll post on the web later, and stick the link up here. Loads of Fetchies caught in the pictures too.

ClaireT I've been quietly hoping for a sub-39 10K this year and today I got it by one second in 38.59, which is 25s of my PB from GSR this year. Fab route and atmosphere with perfect sunny weather conditions. Quite a competitive race, finishing 5th lady overall. But that'll do nicely thanks. Really pleased considering I was aiming for sub-40 today. Hooray!

ducksdisease Didn't know what to expect due to week-long calf pain which forced me to rest. So I was really chuffed to get not just a PB... but also went sub-50! That was next year's goal so its back to the drawing board. Brilliant course, well organised & perfect weather! Also good fun to meet a few Fetchies.

Tigerlily This was fab. Only my 2nd 10k and did it a wee bit quicker than Glasgow. Again, ran/walked all the way round. Great to finish in the stadium. Got loads of pics taken en route..but I look like a total minger and didn't buy any of them. Only negative was mushroom soup on offer at the end..yuk!
