About this parkrun
2 lap woodland trail with some ups and downs. Can be muddy, not a pb course but a very pretty one.Diogenes 22nd Dec 2018
Two hilly laps through beautiful woodland on compacted gravel

CRacking forest trail with HILLS! 2 laps starting with a big fast descent and a bit of a killer hill back up to the finish. Nice cafe on site, you need to pay for parking. There is bike hire and Go Ape there also
Groundhog 9th Jan 2019
Pretty, woody, hilly. Take your kids and look out for Gruffalo. Ripoff parking, decent loos and cafe.

I really enjoy this one, but as others have said, 2 hills, one a real killer, but a nice down hill section afterwards to get your breath back! Forest paths, uneven in places, certainly a trail shoe kind of place. Great cafe, with a parkrun discount

Two loops, one partly repeated, on well made forestry paths. Thankfully loads of marhsals, and busy enough that you don't need to know the route. Hilly and challenging, don't get lured into a fast first mile, or you'll pay for it in the later miles.

Tough undulating course but enjoyable and in my current top 10. Easy parking with good facilities including large cafe. Benches undercover for personal stuff. Trail shoes required for steep downhill and uphill sections.

Down and up, so hard work but lovely run in the woods. Don't get carried away with the downhill start and save a bit for the uphill to the finish.

Today was not a standard day as the course was run in reverse in honour of the first ever Leap Saturday parkruns. A complex but well-marshalled and hilly course in woodland. Paths reasonable. Good cafe and facilities.

Hilly trails and pretty. Very friendly. Good facilities, easy to park (£2 at the time of review). You do one lap and then go again with a detour, taking in "Dragon Hill" (up AND down) and then finishing the original lap again.

Very scenic, 2 woodland laps on dirt / mud / wood chips - friendly.
