We had to have Honey put to sleep last year, but there were well over a thousand pounds of bills lleading up to then that the insurers picked up. Mind you, having received a letter with the final payout expressing sympathy with our loss, I was surprised last week to get a renewal letter offering another year's insurance for her. We're really lucky with Ollie - our curent rescue springer: The last few weeks he's been caked in mud after most walks, but calmly tolerates having the hosepipe turned on:)
