Cookie isn’t keen on his kibble at the moment. He is far better but even went off chicken when he was really poorly. But was ok with mashed potatoes.

Sorry to hear that Mandymoo - hope he responds to the drugs.
Hugs to all the other poorly dogs and their humans as well

How are all the poorly thread dogs?

Have any of you successfully stopped a dog from continuous whining and yelping in the car?
We've tried with him in the boot, in the back seat, with a hammock, with a person in the back with him, music (helps a bit), windows open (helps if not on fast roads).

Marvin is better but not great..Still on plain food but thankfully blood in poop is clearing up. He is just sleeping now pretty much all the time.

We have always been very lucky in that he sleeps in the car for hours. We have a dog seat protector and put his bed in that and he settles - sorry can't be any more help

There are some over the counter (natural) remedies you can buy which are supposed to help them feel more relaxed, Carp.

Something I haven't tried but have looked into is a thundercap made by the same people who do the thundershirt for dogs. Similar calming masks on amazon as I don't think the thundercap is available in the uk.

Looks cruel but I suppose it's no worse than blinkering a horse!

Hope Marvin improves steadily.

Flossie is much better. Tomorrow will be a test though: back to dry food only, no tasty meaty chunks ;-)

Good to hear the poorly ones are on the mend. Can't help with advice about the car I'm afraid.

Wanda is having another operation on Thursday - another mast cell tumour unfortunately. She seems extremely healthy and happy hence we're prepared to go ahead with it, and it's been found quite early as we can't help but look for lumps and bumps all the time now but as this is the second one it is of course still quite worrying for the future.
