Sending calming thoughts to all the doggos that are scared by fireworks, and their humans. I wish people would just stop. Or at least tone them down.

One of the bonuses of our Marvin getting old is his hearing not being so good - he is currently snoring on the sofa ignoring all the bangs

Fortunately Charlie is totally unfazed by fireworks - he’s used to bangs and booms coming off Salisbury Plain all year round!
However, he’s just been woken by a particularly heavy rain shower banging on the caravan roof. He was startled by some unusual reflections on the skylight and barked, growled and shook for a minute or two, until we shut all the blinds. He’s curled up very close to me now.

swittle he's all right but very jumpy if dogs come up to him and get behind him.
He did have a great time yesterday at a local dog field with two greyhounds - they've met before and Biscuit mostly ignored them but did play chase without issues :) He was outpaced!

Really pleased that Biscuit appears largely unaffected by the incident. Hopefully the jumpiness will decrease over time as he has more examples of positive interactions to offset that negative one.

Not as bad as feared, but still not nice, especially for Cookie.
No accidents on my slippers. Me took them for a car ride to try and get some peace.
Classic FM did help.
I think at one point Cookie wound himself up so much he tired himself out and that helped him settle.
Longish walk today to try and tire them out a bit for tonight.

Frankie barked at a few of the loud ones, but in a protecting the property rather than I'm scared way.

If he'd still been here Ollie would just have raised an eyebrow to Frankie and gone back to sleep
