Running Ronnie
Getting a bit of an itch to get more outdoorsy this year and do some decent hillwalking. Our dog George (show cocker spaniel) is still a little young (he'll be 2 years old in August) for massive munros, but he's getting to be a great wee walker. Starting him off at the moment with smaller hills and hopefully he'll be fine for some of the easier munros by summertime. Had him on a great walk today, just under 3 hours, 6 miles with 265 Metres ascent. He wasn't phased at all. He's having a great sleep now. |

We've just driven 90 minutes along the M62 to meet a vet at Hartshead Services for him to complete an animal health certificate and trouser £100. What a faff. We are going to try and get a pet passport while we're in Spain.

RunningRonnie we had Ernie up Munros before he was 2. He could go all day and bloody loves it. If we turn off the A9 at Aviemore he loses his shit because he thinks we might be going up a hill.

Too darn adorable! I wish we had pics of Biscuit as a puppy, he would have been so cute. The other Fetch Biscuit looks funny in his towel |

XB, it’s a real pain. Not sure if it’s route specific but Tigg’s paperwork hasn’t been checked properly on the two occasions we’ve been over on the Dover-Dunkirk route, which is very frustrating too after all the time/cost it takes to get it sorted. His chip was checked, like it always has been, but not the AHC in any detail at all. We don’t have to pay for the paperwork (girlfriend’s a vet), and although she can’t do it herself for Tigg she has vet friends who sign it, but it’s still stressful.
