The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
I've just noticed a swelling/abscess on Wanda's lower jaw. It's not visible when she has her mouth shut and she is currently having a good chew on a plastic 'nyla' bone and although she is favouring the other side she is also chewing it on the abscess side (but avoiding putting the bone on the actual abscess). It's about the size of a chickpea and pink but not 'angry' I am minded to leave it for a day or two and see what happens (I would probably have left it for more than a day or two if it wasn't Christmas). She doesn't seem at all bothered by it. Anyone had anything similar in their dogs?
I've just used this pic in today's blog. It's not new (and was taken by .B. on one of our walks) but Jess IS celebrating the feast of St. Stephen. Altogether now ...'gathering winter fu-u-el'
Our Tussock is having a good Christmas break with regular walks and few runs on the beach. He’s made friends with some nice local dogs here including a deaf dalmation, a shaggy border and two big GSPs
