just got back from a 2-mile walk - no signs of any issue no idea what that was all about then.

That's good. Ernie occasionally has phantom lameness. He'll limp about a bit for a few hours and then it all miraculously disappears. The dog walker once carried him part of his walk - mug!!

Floss used to, but once we twigged that too much ball or stick chasing was the cause she hasn't limped for a good long while. Doesn't mean stick games are off the agenda but we manage them better.

Compared with walking Helvellyn etc, Ralph's walks at home are fairly tame - but he did play chase ball and charge around with his collie pal, Guiness, on yesterday's evening walk, more direction changing than for a while - so you might have the answer LD

Contacted the breeder about our prospective Welshie puppy yesterday and apparently she's not been well, had a fall in the garden and it took 5 hours to drag herself back indoors, been recovering ever since so no puppies in December
Now looking at April next year which is probably better from our point of view anyway.

we've had a couple more bouts of random limping - not always the same leg, can't find any point that he tells me is painful.
Seems happy enough generally, so I guess his age is catching up with him.

Gosh poor woman Molesy. I'm sure it will be worth the wait and at least there is more daylight for walking at that time of year.
