OH and I were meant to be Polly-sitting today as both son2 and GF had work commitments they couldn't change. However, she managed to discard the strapping on her leg last night, snd the vet had said if that happened to take her bzck in. So we took her in first thing this morning, and as she will need to be sedated to be re-strapped, we won't be collecting her til later this afternoon. Still, Cooper has enjoyed a day at home instead of going to doggy day care. Just hope there's good news for son2 when we collect her.

I met the vet, an older chap who seemed to be ultra-cautious, so we're hoping the very conservative treatment she's receiving will enable her to heal well and not need the operation he mentioned. Poor little thing
