We were referred to the 20-years-ago equivalent of the Super-Vet who decided that she would heal well enough without surgery, and he was fortunately proved right. IIRC Daisy's problems started with jumping down from the stairs. Polly is such a bold little puppy and the games she plays with Cooper can be quite lively. Puppies, eh Son2 sent us a little video of Polly in her crate (with a cute tractor-decorated strapping all up her leg). She's whimpering a bit, and Cooper comes up and very gently nuzzles her as if to settle her. He is such a sweetheart.

He got away without surgery but still hops on 3 legs if he’s having a fast run. Otherwise no visible signs. Hopefully Polly will recover similarly, or better still, without the need to hop!
