I've tried running with Ernie a few times. He's a nightmare on the lead. He'd be ok off lead if I could trust him not to run up to other people and jumping at them like a crazy loon. There's a bit of faff putting him on the lead to pass people.

Ok thanks, I might try a bit of on-lead running with her, see if that makes a difference.

I've given up trying to run with Ralph - on lead he pulls me along faster than I can cope with, off-lead he either trips me over or runs off after a hare. He stays close and on best behavious when I have a ball in my hand - but running, not a bloody chance!

Mine runs pretty well on the lead though she gets a bit bored after a couple of miles. I have run with her off lead a couple of times but she gets too excited and tries to trip me over! I'm sure it's just practice though.

Rory has a friend called Bear too, he is a Welsh collie (I think).
We played Scentwork Christmas Pictionary in class tonight and he did unusually well (his drawing of 'Mrs Claus' was excellent
