Oh I will, I'm sure I'll be in here fretting about all kinds of things I've never had to worry about before :-)

Oh D. that is such god news about Indi and the cattle. You must be so relieved.

Maz - And excellent news form you too. We all knew they'd see sense! You will be great I bet ...hope you love each other on first sight. All dogs are different ... but YOU are a person with experience of different dogs. So there!

Another member of the dog club :-) Look forward to hearing all about him, Maz.

Getting your first dog is a *little* bit like having your first baby :-). Just remember, that through trial, error and best endeavours they survive and thrive!

:-) It does feel slightly like I'm acquiring a child. I haven't even had 9 months to get used to the idea!

You also haven't had 9 months to read every book and then worry that you don't know what you are doing.

:-) @ D2. I remember when Charlie first did that - he looked at me as if he was so proud of himself!

Warning: it was about that time he started humping everything/body in sight and marking indoors....followed a few weeks later by the snip. Since the loss of his tackle he has mostly gone back to peeing like a girl.
