(Yes, that would be right, we bought ours for son2's bedroom. It's in sufficiently good nick that it now resides in Sidmouth :-) )

Puppy class number 4 and Ernie excelled again. He is definitely conditioned to equate puppy class with liver in vast quantities. He kept going and lying on his settle mat, even when he wasn't being asked to. I'm so proud of him. Now all we need to do is get him doing all of the exercises beautifully and consistently in other settings and with distractions. Should be easy enough :-o

Sorry to hear about Wanda's unfortunate encounter :(
My leg got in the way of a spaniel attacking George last year and I had a huge bruise and graze and lump on the back of my calf for ages. It never occurred to me to contact the police.
Hope the police take a sensible approach.
Congratulations to both of you for achieving gold!
Well done Ernie too!

Wanda's clearly very creative :-)

Ernie's doing well, especially considering he's just a baby still!

I'm up north at my dad's, I've left Charlie with the doggy childminder. I'm missing him dreadfully but he seems to be having a blast if the photos she's been sending are anything to go by!

Lots of very clever doggies on here...... :)

We had a slightly better day today apart from first thing this morning which I'm too tired to describe here but really makes me doubt my ability. :(

I will put it into words and ask for advice from you all as soon as I can, its just about dealing with overexcited pup with sharp teeth, I'm so scared of creating a worse problem.......... tomorrow is another day

Helegant
Epic fail here at Helegant Towers. Mr phoned the kennels yesterday to book Jet in for this weekend and they are full, "It's the most popular weekend of the year".

We don't want to send him to the 'other' kennels because his tail goes down when we get there and he clearly doesn't see it as a positive experience. Other recommended kennels are also full.

Another option has been recommended, and the videos on their web page look good, so... today we're going to visit a local 'at home' place. They have a dog which the owner says is very friendly and likes to play. Only downside is the size difference between the dogs. It's a GSD. Keep everything crossed please that the dogs get on.

I chose to leave Charlie at an "at home" place where he's living as part of the family with their 2 dogs for the week. I'm sure it will be ok, I don't think they'd offer the service if there was a problem with their dog getting along with others. Jet will probably be very happy. If there is going to be a problem, it will be obvious from the start. Good luck with today's visit, let us know how it goes!

Hope today's visit goes well Helegant - assuming Jet doesn't have some sort of fear of all GSD's then I'm sure this one will be fine if he is used to having visiting dogs to stay.
